Things picked up for D. when the phones started ringing from T.V. and radio commercial "jingles" producers. He worked for such clients as Carl's Jr ("At Carl's Jr., you got taste"), Chevron ("along the Chevy way"), Carrows Restaurants, Hansen's Juices, among others. Later influences leaned toward jazz, jazz fusion, jazz rock, inspired by such greats as Jeff Beck, Larry Carlton, Robben Ford, LA-Express, Lee Ritenour and of course STEELY DAN. D. and friends kicked it up a notch when the tribute band era took off - D's band at the time went way out on a limb and pushed the envelope to form "The Steely Fan Band" which eventually morphed into "The Pretzel Logic Band" (this band has evolved into a 12 piece, yes 12 count 'em).
D. has opened for such acts as Kenny Loggins, Tommy Chong, BB King and Peter Frampton.
Upon moving to the Sierras, D. says "I took my sweet time and found the best players in the mountains to form the 514th incarnation of the Noizy Neighbors. The line-up we have now is made up of a bunch of great guys. I've never been in a band where we get along so well, everyone has a great attitude, musicianship, and a love of playing fun music for fun people. I'm really proud of Bob and the two Daves and Jeff, so get out there and join us.
